well HELLO there KITTY

What cookie do I get the most requests for?

You guessed it!

HELLO KITTY

I am always happy to whip up a batch of these cookies.  She is a cutie...and actually pretty easy to make.  The only thing I still struggle with is placing her eyes and whiskers in the right place.  Surely there is some sort of trick to this!!

Soon after my friend Cynthia got me a Hello Kitty cookie cutter set, my first opportunity to use them came.  Not only was it my first time to make these cookies, it was also my first time to put together a cookie bouquet.

Thanks Cynthia!

I also made some HK cookies for my niece Gabby's birthday party.  Every single one of them made it to California intact!  Pretty good considering it was the first time I packed and sent cookies off!  Ugh!  Do you see what I mean about the eyes and whiskers?!

Happy birthday Gabby!

I think I made these for the fun of it and probably because I had extra dough and icing.  Sometimes I forget things altogether...notice how she's missing her whiskers...poor, poor kitty!  Lucky these were just for fun or else I would have been so embarrassed!

After getting comfy with making just her face, I started using the other cutter.  These are pretty easy to make too.

I also had a request for some HK bows.  At first I thought it was a pretty odd request, but they turned out pretty cute.  To make them,  I created my own template and used it to hand cut the cookies.

Here are some HK cookies I just recently made for a friend.  Check out her eyes and whiskers...I think I did a pretty decent job with them this time!

Wrapped and ready to go

I'm sure I'll be getting more requests for these cute little cookies (and I'd be more than happy to make them!)

After all...everyone loves Hello Kitty!

Even mom!

Ya'll have a great night!  ~ Until next time!

OH DEERE

Evening everyone!

I recently made these cookies for my good friend Cynthia from Cute C Things.

Take a good look at them...do you see my mistake?  A true John Deere fan would probably notice immediately that the deer is facing the wrong way!!

I know, I know...not really a big deal but I should've known better!  Don't want to upset any JD fans out there!

I also made some tractors and cookies with the number 3 on them.

Oh well... Cynthia was pleased with them, I learned my lesson and life goes on! :)

Happy 3rd birthday Jacob!
Hope you enjoyed your cookies!!
